Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Project management, planning, development, coordination and supervision of professional services delivery and engineering effort for a major system(s) or a combination of complex projects.
Serve as Project Manager for large complex projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, tunnels, trenched and trenchless pipelines as well as regulatory programs such as combined sewer overflow management or client-need driven asset systems.
Apply and provide the benefits of Black & Veatch’s global knowledge and experience in support of water business and adjacencies.
Understand and oversee project delivery, quality and technology objectives, and establish relevant engineering requirements for whole or part of major systems. This will involve interpretations, definition of scope and development of concepts, designs, as well as construction phase services support.
Senior professional will make a significant contribution to grow the B&V Water Business in the New York City area , with emphasis on understanding the market and clients, providing and building strong client relationships including positioning, proposal development and supervision of staff.
Make a significant contribution to grow B&V’s Water Business increasing market share in New York City and the surrounding area with focus on expanding Black & Veatch’s role and services to area clients.
Increase Black & Veatch visibility by coordinating and working with internal and external professionals by participating in regional initiatives, conferences and committees, community and civic associations, and other industry activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
12 years exp
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or relevant infrastructure from an ABET accredited, or an engineering program offered by a foreign institution and accepted as valid in the U.S.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
15 years of water infrastructure systems experience in duties and responsibilities.
Masters of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant advanced degree for performance of duties and responsibilities listed above.
Strong Project Management and business development abilities. Prior experience growing a business with an understanding of the Water Business in the New York City market.
