Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of multiple small to mid size or large Power Generation Projects along with the proposing, planning, direction, definition, procurement, development, administration and execution of projects. Responsible for management of clients and client relationships. This individual makes decisions in relation to pursuit and execution of projects. Prepares and manages project budgets. Builds and works with project teams, works with business unit to complete projects. This individual will be responsible for the overall project performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Construction or related fields
• Approximately 15-20 years experience in Power Generation Projects (coal and combined cycle plants preferred), Large Industrial Projects or related fields
• A deep understanding of Power Generation Projects
• Experience and understanding of Chinese contractors and equipments
• Experience in management of multiple small to mid-size projects including; direct client interface, preparation of proposals and execution of projects.
• Experience in preparation of studies and reports, managing engineering staff, oversight of equipment procurement, etc.
• Basic knowledge of finance and processing of finance related information
• Ability to act with limited supervision
• Development and negotiation of contracts
• Understanding of various scopes of work related to consulting engineering projects
• Good interpersonal skills and demonstration of leadership attributes. Service-oriented, highly motivated, quick to respond and strong in analytical skill, conceptual planning ability, conflict management and team building skills, project management processes and implementation skills, communication skills, supervisory skills, decision making skills, and problem solving skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge and proficiency in additional Asian languages would be beneficial

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge and application of PM processes. Demonstrated knowledge and application of Financial Management. Demonstrated ability to lead medium sized teams. Demonstrated understanding and application of contract commercial terms. Demonstrated skill for managing low risk projects.
