The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of a project over the entire life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control and close). The individual is responsible for management of large or complex projects that cross business lines and have considerable impact on the company's business and future. The individual manages cost, schedule, risk and technical performance of projects. Has accountability for stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, and develop lasting relationships with “C” level executives as well as senior business or technical leaders with the highest levels of business acumen and technical expertise. Demonstrates the ability to handle difficult situations and perform crisis management. The individual must have experience managing projects with multiple vendor contribution, global coverage, and significant cultural challenges.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Identify, establishing and maintaining business relationships.
2) Attend customer meetings for ongoing and prospective projects.
3) Provide timely and accurate technical resolution of business partner requests, prompt replies to business partner or management inquiries, and regular feedback regarding project status, opportunities and problems.
4) Participate in the development of a technically competent project team by providing guidance and ensuring adherence to requirements/scope of project.
5) Lead meetings and guide team decision-making processes.
6) Keep abreast of industry technical project management best practices and techniques.
7) Work with team to ensure recording of detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions. Participate in JAD, walk-throughs of systems requirements, specifications and technical design specs. Provide appropriate feedback to ensure the technical quality of an application and adherence to requirements/scope.
8) Ensure timely and appropriate distribution of accurate project information, plans and status reports. Communicate regularly with management at all levels and with customers/stakeholders regarding status of project initiatives to ensure alignment.
9) Project tracking and control, including tracking assignment and progress of action items, as well as reporting progress to executives, facilitating meetings and monitoring action items. Track milestones and timelines across projects.
10) Participate in change control by reviewing change requests, coordinating evaluation of project cost and time estimates for project completion and keeping project plan accurate and updated per authorized project changes.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BA/BS plus minimum 10+ years’ experience in end-to-end platform and project delivery experience.
• PMP Certification preferred or strong knowledge and experience with project management principles, practices, techniques and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating and managing projects and resources in an outsourced environment.
• Proven excellence in presenting to large audiences on detailed technical topics.

11) Work with appropriate resources to plan for and implement security processes and procedures.
12) Work with various resource providers to ensure development is completed in a timely, high-quality and cost-effective manner.
13) Proactively identifying and managing risks and taking corrective action to prevent negative impact to schedule, cost or scope of project. Work with project teams to develop solutions to those risks to meet productivity, quality and customer/stakeholder satisfaction goals. Maintain liaison role between all project stakeholders to facilitate any changes or modifications and to facilitate resolution of problems.
14) Gather and organize information and develop engaging, informative, well-organized presentation materials for periodic Executive Management reviews; including weekly status slides and monthly project matrix for business areas as assigned.
15) Demonstrate high ethics and values; inspire loyalty and trust; handle oneself ethically, following core values and beliefs.
16) Manage project from original concept through final implementation; interface with all areas impacted by the project; ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
17) Formalize final acceptance for the project from the sponsor/customer by ensuring the delivered products and service comply with the agreed deliverable list, scope, and any organizational procedures in order to close the project.
18) Act as the liaison with customers while managing project teams to ensure quality service. Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen business partner relationships.
19) Gain, maintain and apply effective technical, functional and personnel management techniques.
20) Manage high priority, complex technical projects by organizing and scheduling activities to ensure the most efficient use of all resources, including guiding business partner involvement with the project efforts.
21) Oversee the development of relevant project proposals and budgets, and receive proper approval of them before submission to customers.
22) Work with appropriate IT resources and functional managers to analyze and plan for short- and long-term resource needs, and to assign staff based on project requirements.
23) Manage cross-functional project teams and foster teamwork. Inspire team members to obtain goals and pursue excellence.
24) Work with Business and IT resources to develop information systems testing strategies, plans or scenarios.
25) Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identify and quantify any variances, and communicate metrics to appropriate stakeholders.
26) Provide information on project team member performance to their functional manager.
27) Participate in the coaching and development of lower level departmental project management staff.
28) Assure project legal documents are completed and signed.
29) Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. Manage the process of innovative change effectively.
30) Keep track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
