Primary Purpose:
The Project Controls Manager/Specialist position will be assigned to either a role in a role of Project Controls Manager or Regional Office Project Controls Manager. S/he may act in combination as appropriate for business requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The Regional Office Project Controls Manager will:
Functioning as a Regional Office Project Controls Manager:
• Lead Bangkok office project controls to support project execution.
• Lead in project controls efforts to support capturing new work.
• Interface with Asia and KC project controls organizations as needed.
• Anticipates resource requirements to ensure adequate resources are available.
• Participates in Energy Division project controls process and systems development.
• Works with business line personnel on marketing and key common execution issues.
• Supports development of project controls personnel.
Supports global department leadership and services managers as requested to:
• Develop tools, systems and processes to accomplish project control work.
• Develops and oversees training programs for the department.
As assigned this professional may also perform the role of Project Controls Manager for assigned projects:
• Lead project controls team on the most complex and highest risk projects.
• Perform integral functions on the project management leadership team to ensure project success.
• Identifies improvements to processes and leads in developing staff capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
• BA, BS or MS graduate but may include individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas.
• Minimum 12 years in planning/scheduling, business systems maintenance, cost engineering, earned value analysis, claims, and/or contract/project administration in Power or Oil & Gas industry.
• Project Controls training plus extensive business and leadership training and project execution experience are required.
• High leadership skills to include the ability to manage, lead, guide/coach, develop, motivate, and mentor team professionals are required.
• Self-starter and ability to make decisions independently.
• Demonstrate proven knowledge of cost engineering and contract administration.
