Black & Veatch is expanding across GCC countries. This role directly report to GCC MD. The person will assist MD in navigating within Black & Veatch, as well as to address business licensing in GCC countries, facilities and other similar administrative duties. This role is in place to ensure the GCC MD does not become consumed with internal matters.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Typical duties may include but are not limited to the following (Professional responsibilities may cross functions as needed): Corporate Compliance: • Responsible for all Company registration documents updated, filed, and process all clients’ registrations and pre qualifications for all GCC countries. • Single point of contact for all Company license documents/matters and make sure all licenses are relevant/active and maintain a repository which is easily accessible by MD. • Ensure each Company registration does not lapse. Administration • Develop and implement office administration procedures and policies for the organization. • Align the activities within the office between people as per the procedures laid down. • Coach & train the administration staff. • Coordinate with local PRO for all the statutory compliances and licenses and necessary residence visas and work permits. • Coordinate with all external agencies for the upkeep of office, travel and stay of the employees, repair & maintenance, transportation, rentals with updated documentation. • Utilize MS Office to create documents and store in appropriate Web-based systems • Supervise the purchase of office supplies and oversee office expenses • Ensure that office administrative staff keeps the office clean and the kitchen is fully stocked throughout the week • Organize catered meals and other company-sponsored events • Administer incoming and outgoing mail • Maintain and track office management expenses and budgets • Maintain positive relationships with office and travel vendors • Procure bids for office services • Anything else assigned by the executives Keyboarding, sitting Extensive Off-site event management and implementation Occasional Site visits and travel around GCC Expected within GCC
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Legal / Quasi Legal degree preferred Experience: A minimum of 10 years in related industry and in setting up offices / managing licenses and government relation across GCC is preferred. Training: GCC Company Laws
