Performs typical secretarial and administrative duties and tasks of a varied nature according to established processes, applying occasional independent judgment. Generally supports smaller workgroup, such as a section, unit or functional area, under general supervision. Emphasis is more on secretarial role than administrative. Requires basic knowledge of workgroup’s policies and procedures. Has occasional contact with clients, suppliers, or company employees outside the immediate work area to exchange information.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains the project database (tech and Non-tech) using company tools through project manager’s office. Arranges project meetings, travel, and events. Generates Personnel Change Notices as directed. Initiates or composes various documents, as well as researches, analyzes and summarizes information. May assign or coordinate work of other support staff. May attend or represent workgroup in meetings. May coordinate timesheet collection. May review expense reports for compliance. May verify accuracy of invoices prior to approval. Performs other general clerical duties as needed.; Acts in capacity of a “lead person” from a document database management standpoint. Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Experience: 6-7+ years relevant experience preferred. Specific experience in managing medium size project administrative activities required. Top-notch verbal and written communication skills required. Team player and flexibility to support project deadlines. Advanced Microsoft office skills needed. needed
