The Telecommunications Division delivers telecommunication infrastructure solutions to utilities, local and state government agencies and the commercial wireless industry. Primary Purpose:
The Project Controls Sr. Manager/Specialist position will be assigned to either a role in Project Controls, LOB, Cost/Planning Services or Regional Office Project Controls or a combination. This level includes the most technically competent level of project controls/contract administration, and supervisory personnel.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Controls Manager
• Leads project controls team on the highest complexity projects.
• Assists LOB PCMs and/or services managers in major activities as needed.
• Identifies opportunities for improving project controls processes and systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: BA, BS, or MS graduate, but may include individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas
Highly prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
Experience: 12+ years Project Controls/Project Administration
Highly prefer 15+ years of Project Controls Experience
Subject matter expert in both Cost Control and Planning & Scheduling
Experience in Home Office and Field Project Controls.
Preferred Resident of California, local Concord/Walnut Creek Area
Must be willing to relocate in not local to the area
Experienced in Project/Program Management
Utility experience nice to have

Leadership skills to include the ability to manage, lead, guide/coach, develop, motivate, and mentor team professionals Proven communication and inter-personal skills Self starter and ability to make decisions independently Computer skills Planning skills Proven knowledge of Cost engineering Proven knowledge of Contract administration
