Our services encompass planning, design, procurement, construction, startup, optimization and maintenance.
The senior Project Controls position will be assigned to either a role in Planning & Scheduling or Cost Engineering or a combination. With minimal supervision, the individual at this level is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses while extensively interfacing with the client and handling commercial issues. In addition, the individual will provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control personnel.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively leads a team of project controls professionals, positively influencing internal and external clients to achieve successful results. • Develops and implements appropriate project controls tools, templates, systems, etc. • Evaluates project, business, and/or client needs and develops project controls plans and solutions fit for purpose. • Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in knowledge area of project controls. • Identifies improvements for project control processes and develops staff capabilities. • Develops appropriate training material; conducts training in support of established guidelines and standards as well as industry best practice. • Assists in developing and implementing business development initiatives related to project controls services and products, and supports or leads proposal efforts as needed. • Develops and delivers technical presentations on various project controls topics at relevant professional society and industry association events. • Assists the Project Controls Manager in the hiring, administration and competency evaluation of project controls staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years in planning/scheduling, cost engineering, and/or contract administration.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Education: BA, BS, or MS graduate • Possesses a relevant technical certification (AACE, PMI, etc.) or is in the process of obtaining • Advanced Primavera P6 and Excel experience and capability • Complex knowledge of the implementation and use of EVM systems • Experience that demonstrates key competencies such as: Communication, Dealing with Ambiguity, Problem Solving, Customer Focus, Innovation, Team Building and/or Perseverance.
