Primary Purpose:
Effectively leads a team of project controls professionals on a large construction project and be able to positively influence internal and external clients to achieve results. Achieves a high level of forecasting accuracy. Proactive in addressing project issues therefore supporting a successful construction project outcome.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
COST: Leads cost control team on complex projects; PLANNING/SCHEDULING: Leads planning and scheduling efforts on complex projects inclulding startup planning; CONTROLS MGT: Manages a team of project controls professionals; confers with PM team on project execution matters; participates in key risk mgt discussions; participates in and may lead potential claims issues; supervises subcontract administration when assigned;

Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years in construction planning/scheduling, cost engineering, and/or contract administration.
Education: BA, BS, or MS graduate, but may include individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Previous experience on large scale power plant construction in both direct hire and subcontract delivery models; previous experience with construction work packaging; knowledge of earned value principles and forecasting.
