The Smart Integrated Infrastructure (SII) Growth Platform delivers state-of-the-art, innovative solutions to the municipal, energy, water, telecom and transportation sectors. All of which have become increasingly distributed and interconnected. SII leverages distributed infrastructure development capabilities with a high-end analytics platform to address opportunities in the areas of asset management, operational efficiency, reliability and sustainability to a wide variety of clients, including utilities, local and state government agencies and the commercial/industrial sector. SII leverages Black & Veatch's strong industry sector domain expertise to help clients improve system performance by enhancing communication, connectivity, data analytics and operational efficiency leveraging their developing and established integrated infrastructure.
Lead the development of analytics solutions related to water and wastewater systems. Work with Solution Lead and a team of developers to define solution critera, create new solution applications, pilot test, and full implementation. See the solution development through to the commercialization stage by configuring to client system, field testing and responding to client feedback on functional improvements. Candidates for this position must have software configuration, a strong technical background in product or service implementation, experience in water and wasterwater systems, and a demonstrated skill and ability to understand clients needs and deliver to scope, schedule and budget expectations. The successful candidate will be able to leverage these skills into a position that delivers new software data analytics solutions to the water and wastewater industry.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Solution Lead to fully define client need into analytics solution.
Work with analytics development team to create solution application.
Field test application
Work with the development team to configure application to specific client needs.
Proficiency with HTML 5, OSIsoft PI, MS Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical specialty. Minimum of 3 years related work experience
Preferred Job Qualifications:
5-10 years of water/wastewater control system configuration or other innovative position with solution development experience.
