The Black & Veatch Internship Program is designed to provide the following to students: 1) experience in a working environment; 2) meaningful work assignments; 3) introduction to Black & Veatch corporate culture; 4) chance to network with experienced executives, leading professionals, and peers; 5) opportunity to learn and expand classroom theory into practice, 6) earn excellent hourly wage. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The student intern will develop and modify drawings based on sketches, mark-up copies or verbal instructions; develop necessary details with minor supervision; learn and maintain a working knowledge of project and company CAD standards; and gain an understanding of engineering design processes and document control procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be in pursuit of an Associates or Bachelors degree in an Engineering Related Technology or an Associates or Bachelors degree in a Computer Aided Design Program a requirement. AutoCAD skills, Microsoft Office, and excellent written and verbal communication skills also a solid requirement.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Maintaining a GPA of at least 2.75.
