Primary Purpose:
Provide engineering related design, analysis, and studies for domestic or international power plant projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a mid level position in which the candidate will perform power electrical system design on new and existing utility and industrial power generation facilities. The candidate will also be expected to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work for an assigned portion of a major project or a total project of moderate scope. Duties include supervision of the engineering work of assigned drafters, designers, and subordinate engineers. This includes work assignments, scheduling and review. Candidate will also be expected to coordinate and communicate with personnel in other departments, project managers and client personnel to review designs and resolve areas of concern. In addition, candidate will perform special electrical system studies or analyses involving review, research calculation, equipment selection, etc., to develop required reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a University Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program in the USA or a foreign program accepted as valid for the pursuit of a Professional Engineer license in the U.S. Minimum of 5 years of power plant design related experience performing engineering related duties. Candidate must be experienced with ETAP,SKM Power Tools, or similar software experience. Candidate must have Professional Engineer Licensure(PE) in the U.S. or be in active pursuit of such registration if not already registered. Also required are excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as MicroSoft Windows, Excel and Word experience. Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority/Disabled/Veterans/Females
