The Telecommunications Division delivers telecommunication infrastructure solutions to utilities, local and state government agencies and the commercial wireless industry. Primary Purpose:
Develop microwave designs to support the deployment of next generation utility communication networks

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop microwave design(s), using licensed and unlicensed frequencies
- Design unlicensed and licensed Point to Point and Point to Multipoint Networks with emphasis on Alcatel, Aviat (Harris-Stratex), Ceragon, Dragon Wave, Motorola
- Experienced in creating multiple path profiles for state-sized networks using Pathloss 5.0.
- Conduct or coordinate site surveys, analyzing wireless networks and RF spectrum.
- Prepare Scope of Work, Pathloss analysis, and proposal bids
- Create construction drawings and specification packages that will go out to multiple bidders.
- Drive a strong design architecture that includes IP/MPLS, SONET and TDM components
- Effectively manage design projects and resolve any issues that arise to insure that they meet aggressive deployment timelines
- Manage or conduct field work, including path surveys, installation and commissioning support, troubleshooting, and optimization

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical discipline from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible microwave network design and engineering experience.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
PE registration and/or RCDD Certification desirable but not required.

Software Skills: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio; Microwave planning tools such as Pathloss 5.
