iMG will provide and manage (without taking an equity position, at least initially) the broad spectrum of services necessary to maximize an asset owner’s earnings from a power, water or wastewater asset. The initial client base is expected to be primarily financial asset owners, although other owners may desire iMG services.
Contribute to B&V Corporate Strategy support for Asset Management, Operation & Maintenance and Program Management. Collaborate on iMG Strategic Plan and *Go to market- strategy. Drive the process to acquire new clients and engagements and responsible for all aspects of assigned engagements. Direct the development of processes and techniques to improve operations and develop marketable service offerings. Provide input on the strategic plans for the organization. Utilize capabilities exhibiting thought leadership. Provides technical or industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of all engagement phases. Demonstrates capabilities with minimal oversight. Scope and size of projects they contribute to are generally large in size, high in volume or they may own a significant portion of a larger project. May lead a large size effort or project team. May delegate team work assignments through various phases of an engagement. May manage projects from prospect to client deliverable.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Capture and Delivery of Public Private Partnership and performance contracts which would include Concession agreements, Alliance contracting, Prime ESCO contractor and O&M support services to the water sector.
o Further develop strategy around a “ONE B&V” offering
o Prepare BoM capture and work with Operations director to prepare execution plan to present to BoM
o Work with Legal, Insurance and Finance to structure commercial contracts for clients
• Collaborate with the iMG’s Operations Director to organize proposal, due diligence and execution support
• Collaborate with Financial sector funds in the infrastructure and revenue bond marketplace to understand their charter and risk profile
Other duties as part of iMG Management team:
• Collaborate on development and capture of Public Private Partnership (P3) and performance contracting platforms
• Collaborate on iMG budget management
• Collaborate on Strategy Planning process
• Collaborate on the annual budget planning process
• Actively participate in quarterly Board of Managers meetings
• Provide bi-weekly report to COO and support monthly reporting to President
• Present at conferences and produce white papers and case studies on P3 and Performance Contracting
• Collaborate in selling a “ONE B&V” solution to clients
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously. Contributor or leader to acquire new engagements. Business development of 5+ years preferred. Typically 12-15+ years in a business/consulting environment.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Proven experience in building new business or operations in a large organization; a combination of business development and operations is ideal.
Demonstrated track record in moving business forward in terms of revenues, market position and market penetration.
Experience managing an Operations function.
Brings solid understanding of the local marketplace, bureaucracy, and regulations.
Possesses a strong client base and industry relationships in the selected focus sectors.
Experience working with the financial sector in areas related to infrastructure funding
Strong client management skills demonstrated through building close relationships and remaining involved to address issues and avoid disputes
