Power cycle design for combined cycle, cogeneration, and conventional thermal power cycle steam cycles.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Power cycle design for combined cycle, cogeneration, and conventional thermal power cycle steam cycles. Must have knowledge in the following areas: experience in heat balance modeling using Thermoflow (equivalent experience in using Gate Cycle, PEPSE, or similar programs will be considered); power generation equipment specification development; and evaluation of major power plant equipment including combustion turbines, steam turbines, feedwater heaters, and boiler feed pumps. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of circulating water transient analysis and power plant performance testing. Duties include completion of conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, and cycle and heat rejection optimization. Coordinate with personnel in other departments, project managers, and client personnel to review designs and resolve areas of concern. Perform special studies or analyses involving review, research, calculations, selection, etc. to develop required reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualification: BE (Mech) Minimum of 3 years related work experience

Basic knowledge of construction & constructability practices & principles. Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to assigned engineering discipline. Basic knowledge of procurement & contract administration. Basic knowledge of process, procedures for project controls and estimating. Basic knowledge of management techniques and company/division HR programs, policies, procedures, and organization structure.
