Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Civil Estimating Support .Performs quantity take-offs. Assist in applying self-preform labor man-hours and productivity to estimates. Assists in the pricing of projects. Communicates with engineers, to clarify scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements, and documents these clarifications. Proposal development. Actively participates in the internal estimate review process. Assists with final assembly of estimate including proposal presentation. After the bid, collects and organizes all bid information for future reference. Aids in maintaining historical data.

Minimum Qualifications:
Field experience is not required but is considered a plus. 2 to 5 years estimating experience is required. Timberline experience a must

Preferred Job Qualifications:
One to two years’ experience in Civil estimating. BS in Construction management. General knowledge of construction principles and processes. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. General knowledge of civil activities (excavation, concrete, etc.), steel erection, and equipment installation. General knowledge of negotiated bids, hard bids, target pricing, and GMP processes. Working knowledge of estimating technology and tools such as On Screen Takeoff, .Strong math and analytical skills. Attention to detail. Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Strong work ethic and core values.
