Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing the detailed cost estimate for their discipline. Tasks include performing quantity takeoffs for all civil, structural and architectural scopes of work from conceptual to detailed design. Develops production rates and man-hours; and designs crews as required for their estimates. Performs reviews with subcontractors and vendors to verify scopes of work and ensure scope and price are complete. Explains scope and cost estimate for project presentations. Team oriented. Performs comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects. Updates and maintains historical cost data for their discipline. Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives where appropriate. Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:
5 to 10 years civil and structural construction estimating experience is required

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Construction Site Field experience is preferred but not required.
