Primary Purpose:
Functions in a junior level engineer capacity. Under close supervision, performs engineering functions requiring knowledge and experience in engineering principles. This level builds on experience gained as Engineer1 by either obtaining more depth in specific subject area with the expectation that assignments are larger and more complex, or by gaining experience in more subject areas.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepares and verifies less complex engineering deliverables. • Performs research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. • Collects, assimilates, and manages data for engineering work. • Prepares engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. • Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from a recognized accredited university. • Minimum 1 year experience in civil or structural engineering. • Good interpersonal skills and proven leadership skills. • Excellent command of English. • Flexibility to travel.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline Basic ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned. Basic industry knowledge and technology trends Basic knowledge of company quality program Basic knowledge of construction & constructability practices & principles Basic knowledge of procurement & contract administration Basic knowledge of process, procedures for project controls and estimating Basic knowledge of technical aspects of the proposal process
