The Project Manager, PMT2, is responsible for managing project complexity of large-size OSP build projects in a defined geographic market. The role oversees the management of the OSP activities including, but not limited to: site acquisition, engineering and construction activities ensuring the successful completion of all required deliverable's.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Manage a market wide outside plant build of a FTTH network. Position will have complete responsibility for the execution of all aspects of the build including engineering, permitting, reporting and construction. In addition to the execution responsibilities this leader will also have market oversight for all commercial aspects of the build. Heavy focus on customer relationship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The position requires a strong focus on managing the project financials in order to drive profitable projects. The candidate will possess strong skills in processes management, team management/leadership, commercial/contract adherence and management of risk. This individual will be expected to drive strong client relationship building, both internally and externally. 10 years exp.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following competencies: conflict management, client focus, schedule management, and delegation skills. Candidate will also possess strong listening skills, the ability to motivate and direct others, strong negotiation skills, planning, priority setting, process management and timely decision making. Drives and guides the project team according to defined timelines and ensures project timelines are met and are within budget.
