Responsible for providing complete, concise and timely financial analyses in addition to supporting the planning process. Analysis is Provide alternatives through scenario planning in addition to recommendations that enhance the decision making process. Planning responsibilities will include management of compilation, consolidation and review of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Works under minimal supervision.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops components of the annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts (income statement). Preparation of presentation materials with draft copy supporting speaker notes and other documentation. Prepares/interprets financial internal assessments for scenario planning, breakeven/overhead rates, staffing analysis and all other core business metrics. Leads and supports special projects (core business task force models, Authorization For Expenditures (AFE) process and capital plan). Monthly variance analysis for Cash Flow and results and analysis (R&A) in support of divisional financial reporting. Proactively identifies trends to incorporate into the quarterly forecasts cycles (risks and opportunities). Reviews and prepares monthly cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis and day sales outstanding (DSO) analysis. Process improvement and documentation; Moderate to complex tool development and enhancement. Training for both Division Management (Department Head) & all other financial/accounting staff support on financial reports and variance analysis.; Acts in capacity of a “lead person”. Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years related experience performing financial analysis, model development. Engineering or Construction Industry experience preferred.; Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) or equivalent experience
