Our services encompass planning, design, procurement, construction, startup, optimization and maintenance.
Responsible for providing complete, concise and timely financial analyses in addition to supporting the planning process. Analysis is Provide alternatives through scenario planning in addition to recommendations that enhance the decision making process. Planning responsibilities will include management of compilation, consolidation and review of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Works under minimal supervision.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide financial analysis to facilitate decision making.
•Recognizes potential risks and opportunities within area of responsibility and communicate as appropriate.
•Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.
•Identify information needs and gaps and work with the reporting group to implement changes where required.
•Prepares, analyzes and reviews monthly/quarterly financial statements and various reports.
•Analyzes cost variances to budget and forecast, determines drivers as well as derives actionable advice to business owners.
•Coordinates and assists in planning cycles.
•Assists/trains others within immediate group as needed.
•Performs special projects as directed by management or other divisions.
•Recommends and participates in implementation of policies and procedures within department.
•Coordinates/communicates issues within department and across the various divisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years related experience performing financial analysis, model development.
Engineering or Construction Industry experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) or equivalent experience
Preferred Job Qualifications:
•International experience preferred; Project Accounting experience preferred
•Business Acumen and Entrepreneurial thinking required
•Leadership ability (team building, coaching, mentoring, change management, advising) - Intermediate
•Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Manager and Essbase preferred
•Knowledge of General Ledger Systems - Low
•Knowledge of Financial Reporting System - Low
•Knowledge of GAAP and Financial Statement structure - Intermediate
•Knowledge of foreign currency terminology and concepts - Low
•Multi-tasking ability (prioritize, organize, schedule work) - Intermediate
