Primary Purpose:
Functions in a mid level engineer capacity, or technical specialist. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. Broadens knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements – The skills and competencies etc for Building system design/ HVAC, Plumbing & Fire fighting design candidate are. Candidate should have exclusive 5-10 years’ experience of designing HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems. Candidate should be able to prepare conceptual designs, carry out detailed designs including calculations and associated general arrangement and 3D drawings, write specifications. Preference will be given for those who have handled international projects. Familiarity with SMACNA, ASHRAE, NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, UPC, IPC, IMC standards. Hands on experience on software such as HAP/ELITE/other heat load calculations software is essential and experience in energy modelling software will have an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualification – BE/MTech in Mechanical engineering Experience – 5+ years

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Learning on the Fly, Problem Solving, Intellectual Horsepower, Written Communications, Drive For Results, Decision Quality, Informing, Listening, and Dealing with Ambiguity. Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline Basic knowledge of other disciplines. Intermediate ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned. Basic industry knowledge and technology trends Basic knowledge of company quality program Basic knowledge of construction & constructability practices & principles Basic knowledge of procurement & contract administration. Basic knowledge of process, procedures for project controls and estimating Basic knowledge of technical aspects of the proposal process.
